Description — This site is located in Halifax, NS and serves as a community hub where at-risk youth run an urban farm to grow fresh food and combat community food insecurity. By selling handcrafted herb dressings and fair-trade teas, the youth raise money for a dedicated scholarship fund that finances their post-secondary education. Additionally to the farm there is a solar tracker that supplies the main building, offices, and global kitchen with clean energy.
